We have for sale a truly lovely pair of 1970s Christian Dior gold plated faux pearl gold plated earrings.

These rather stunning gold plated earrings are approximately an inch (2.5cm) in diameter and are of a round form with a wide border beautifully pierced with a scroll heart design around a central faux pearl. The clips are marked Chr.Dior© Germany indicating that they were manufactured for Christian Dior by Henkel & Grossé at their factory in Pforzheim, Germany. The association between Dior and Henkel and Grossé was formed in 1957 and continued right up until 2006 when the factory in Pforzheim was taken over by Christian Dior.

The earrings are in an a very good to excellent condition other than a few of microscopic marks to the faux pearls consistent with their age. These marks can just about be made out in the high resolution close up images of the the earrings.
