This large antique gilt wood upholstered stool is in good condition with the original gilding still in place. The gilding does have a bit of wear here & there, but that only adds to the character. Please enlarge all the images to see the finish & all the fine carved details on the frame. We have just had this stool re-upholstered in a cream fabric. This stool has a great shape with two sides conceived & two sides serpentine shaped. I would date it to around the 1850-70's period, although it might be older.
