This is a stunning late 19th century screen with Regency styling in its original gilt finish. The frame is beautifully carved with great detail and has a central bevelled glass pane to the middle section. The hinges have a double fold action so this can be adjusted in either direction. The screen is upholstered in a dramatic Terrarium Designs fabric "In the Undergrowth" to the three front panels and a plain chenille to the reverse. The three fold design is a heavy and robust construction and this makes a really dramatic impact in any situation. The central panel is 66 inches high by 20" wide and the side panels measure 15" wide.
