Gilt Metal Table Lamp Marble Base New Silk Shade
This is an attractive Gilt Metal Table Lamp on a Marble Base, with a new Silk Shade by the makers of the Downton Abbey, Mr Selfridge and other film and tv series lampshades.
The grey and white marble base stands on four feet and bears an ornate, scroll footed, reducing column, topped with a corinthian capital.
The shade is in the 'Ballerina' style and has a crown of gold brocade, a body of aubergine silk, gold fringe, aubergine and gold beaded tassels, all finished with a two tone braid.
The lamp has been rewired with antique gold coloured braided flex, and has all new fittings including a safer switched lampholder, plug and shade carrier. As with all electrical items, it is recommended that it be checked by a qualified electrician before use.
Height to top of shade: 20" - 50.75cm
Diameter of shade: 11" - 28cm
Base: 4 3/4" - 12cm
Condition: Very good. There are no cracks or chips to the marble base and the gilding is intact. The shade is new.
