A large, stunning antique gilt over mantle mirror.
Dating from around 1835, this original antique gilt over mantle mirror has lots of carved decoration.
All the period gesso work is intact and finished in original gilt.
The fabulous plate glass mercury mirror is period and in good condition.
The back boards are pine and in good, strong order.
A fine English antique overmantle mirror with a wealth of features including an ebonised, tiered base, egg and dart mouldings and plenty of swagged foliage and flowers.
