Description

A superb set of 9 natural timber stools or tables c.1960. Standing between 19 – 21 inches tall, of unknown timber with a lovely end grain and pronounced red colouring. Extremely dense and very heavy, the smallest of the logs weighs in at 35kg, the largest in excess of 120! The sides have been stripped of their bark and are attractively riven and even burnt in places. Ideal as stools and tables or perhaps as plinths for pieces of art and sculpture.
