Description

Very unusual mid 19th.c. Venetian etched glass mirror c.1850. 11″ diameter mirror plate with delightful etched detail featuring a small bird and a border of leaves and flower heads. With seven concave roundels ground into the rear surface of the mirror, each of which reflect a separate image when viewed from the front. Original broad moulded frame in solid rosewood. Good original condition with only minor wear.
Dimensions: diameter 16½", depth 2".
