Description

Splendid early 20th.c taxidermy red deer stag’s head c.1930. A very good specimen, but to be properly described as a ‘Royal’ stag there should be six points to each set of antlers, this one has six on one side and five on the other! Good quality and naturalistic taxidermy, with glass eyes and presented mounted onto an oak shield shaped board. Excellent condition.
Dimensions: width 24″, depth 26″, height 48″.
