Description

Large Art Nouveau figure of a woman by the celebrated Austrian makers Goldscheider c.1890. Standing 41½" tall, beautifully modelled in painted terracotta as a young woman with flowers in her hair and wearing a diaphanous gold dress. Signed by the artist 'Haniroff' in the clay and stamped with the factory mark of Frederich Goldscheider together with the serial numbers 2078/81/1. Professionally repaired and with previous repairs visible to the left arm and fingers.
