Description

Very attractive carved oak side cabinet in the style of a sixteenth century aumbrey cupboard c.1930. Solid oak top with a deep applied moulded edge over cupboards top and bottom (internal depth 12"). Superb front with linenfold carved panels arranged around a lovely carved and pierced Gothic tracery panel (quite possibly repurposed from an older piece). Decorative iron catches to the doors. Solid oak side panels, back and floor boards. Note the pegged construction. Some old marks to the top, otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
