A large Doulton Lambeth stoneware vase with faience vibrant blue floral panel framed with tube lining and jewel work. This large statement piece stands at 41cm or 16" high and is the work of renowned Doulton Lambeth artist Eliza Simmance. Her monogram ES is inscribed on the base with Lambeth ware back stamp. This impressive piece is in excellent condition with no signs of restoration.Eliza Simmance was a prolific Doulton artist. She started working at Doulton in 1873 and finished in 1928- a period of 55 years. Her craftsmanship and design ability was remarkable
