Description

A very rare and absolutely fabulous parquetry inlaid French Wall clock. The quality of the inlay is simply lovely with two peacocks aside a temple along with intricate roses, daisies, leaves and poppies. The clocks sits upon its original and matching parquetry inlaid bracket and the overall height is 24”. The fine French silk suspension movement by Vincenti has a date of 1817 marked and has been fully overhauled for many years of service. The perfectly white porcelain dial with ornately cast and gilt bezel give this clock a stunning presence.
