Description

From the 1960s, these original Cassina LC1 Pampas armchairs designed by the famous architect / designer, Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris (1887-1965) - better known by his assumed pseudonym of Le Corbusier, in collaboration with his cousin Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand.
These instantly recognisable and highly sought after numbered chairs, with their clean lines and simple modernist design, have chrome-plated tubular steel frames with sturdy leather seats and tilting back rests that adjust to the desired seating position are a real find in exceptionally good, vintage condition with unmarked frames and minimal signs of use although one back rest has a scratch and minor scuff mark near the base.
