Superb Victorian Longcase 8-day Grandfather clock by maker John Paterson of Airdrie. This clock has a spectacular floral gilded face with Roman numerals and additional dials for seconds and months. The keyhole shaped case with its beautiful flame mahogany veneers is in showroom condition. The overall condition is outstanding and in good working order and comes with its original weights, pendulum and winding key. Like all antiques there are the odd age-related marks but that does not diminish the outstanding quality of a true statement item like this grandfather clock.
