A very fine quality original Georgian mahogany chest of drawers with original 'brushing slide' which is in great condition and in solid mahogany. This is a small to medium size chest, with four graduating drawers, all with beaded edging and original brass handles and locks, though I don't have any keys for it, I may be able to help source one if required...please enquire. The drawers all run very well and are oak lined, with dovetail joints as you can see. Lovely mahogany tone and with some signs of age and use to the top, I prefer to leave these marks rather than strip and re polish, but again, if you would rather, let me know and I can arrange it for you. The whole chest is well polished and clean, lovely colour tone and is a decorative piece with the style of leg and shaped plinth. Unusual with the brushing slide too, real sign of quality craftsmanship.

Great size to use as an everyday storage chest or the size and style will sit very nicely into an alcove too.
