Very good proportioned original Georgian mahogany Chest on Chest with original "brushing slide" circa 1820
This is not a typically large chest on chest, measuring Width 110cm - Height 182cm - Depth 55cm so it isn't over powering and with the chamfered sides, beading and decorative cornice, it's a great piece of furniture and has some lovely mahogany grain to the drawer fronts and sides
Great storage and works well as an everyday chest of drawers, 2 short drawers over 3 in the upper section and below you have the brushing slide with 3 further full width drawers below
The chest splits into two pieces for ease of moving / delivering

I can arrange delivery for you to most England & Wales addresses for £75, but you are also very welcome to come and collect it from me here in Uppingham, Rutland.

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
I can arrange delivery to you, whether you are within the UK or require an international delivery service, please do get in touch…as a mainland UK guide, a delivery for something around the size of a chest of drawers within approx 150 miles will be £75 to you, but if you if you are in Scotland, Wales, Ireland or Cornwall please get in touch to confirm delivery costs!

All of my items are antique and will therefore, have some signs of age and use, but I restore everything necessary and you will receive a good quality piece that is well represented in my photographs...no problem to send you more info or photos of any item you would like, just let me know.
In the very unlikely event you would like to return your item, this is no problem, but you must use a fully insured delivery firm. All transport costs are your own responsibility, as per standard
