Description

Great size and very decorative mid 19th century French paint and gilt overmantle or console mirror with original paint and original mercury mirror glass.
Lovely colour and finish to the paint and it has aged gracefully over the years, as is with the gilding too.
The mirror plate itself is in good condition with only minor foxing or blemishes.

49 1/4 inches or 125 cm high
41 3/4 inches are 106 cm wide
Mirror glass:
43 3/4 inches or 111 cm
33 1/2 inches or 85 cm

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
