Description

Very elegant proportioned English Regency period rosewood chiffonier cabinet with brass marquetry inlay and brass grille panelled doors backed with a teal brushed velvet, circa 1820 and in lovely original condition.
Wonderful colour to this piece, the rosewood being a mellow tone which works well with the brass work and the teal brushed velvet panels give it a pop of colour and contrast too.
To the top there is it’s original 3/4 brass gallery shelf, supported on brass columns and the panelled back, below the pair of doors open up to a three fixed shelf surfaces for storage.
The interior retains its original ebonised glaze which has aged well too.
Super piece of furniture and the dimensions allow it to fit in numerous locations!
