Description

Exceptionally good quality and beautifully proportioned mid 19th century French rosewood and marble top commode with a banded inlay and the most beautiful figured rosewood throughout.
The commode is in the Louis Philippe style but unusually has a shaped plinth and stands on turned feet too.
Wonderful piece of decorative antique French furniture and something that will enhance any setting, whether traditional or a contemporary setting.
The original moulded edge pale grey marble top works very well with the highly figured rosewood too.
The drawers are opened by using the key and a drawer pull, but if you would rather have handles or knobs fitted, it is no problem for me to do so for you.

36 1/2 inches or 93 cm high
49 1/2 inches or 126 cm wide
23 1/2 inches or 59.5 cm deep
