Description

Lovely quality French louis xv style bureau plat or desk with fantastic brass ormolu mounts to the drawer fronts and running the entire length of the legs.
This desk can free stand, or be used as a "partners" desk as it is finished on both sides.
The desk has the additional and very useful feature of the two slides at the ends, to give you additional surface space as and when required.
The top of the desk and the additional slides is in great condition, gilt tooled and embossed.
Well inlaid throughout and with the ormolu mounts really making this a very decorative centre piece for a home office, or a lovely piece in a living room, or perhaps would work well as a dressing table too with a table top mounted mirror...?!
