Lovely original Victorian single painted brass and iron bed in an old off white to ivory finish and supplied with the fitted slatted base you see in the pics.
Decorative bed with the cast wreaths to the head and footboard and the brass sections work so well with the old paint finish.
Good solid condition, the slatted base is “fitted” so it doesn’t move or slide, the old paint finish shows some signs of age as you can see, but hence the low price!
The bed does come to pieces, so it’s easy to move and get up the stairs…headboard, footboard, two side rails that slot into place, then the slatted base.
Measuring:
61 1/2 inches or 156 maximum height of the headboard
46 1/4 inches or 117.5 cm height of the footboard
Standard single mattress size of 3’ x 6’ 3 inches or 90 cm x 190 cm
