Lovely quality and unusual French inlaid demi lune chest or cabinet, circa 1900.
Good decorative piece and a great small size too, so it will fit into an alcove or sit well on a landing for example.
Well made and with fantastic walnut veneered panels, inlays and finished with good ormolu handles, also a working lock with key
The central drawer is oak lined and dove tailed, below the double door open to give good further storage
Standing on elegant tapering legs with further brass caps.
The marble top is in super condition and original, shaped edge.
Great piece of furniture for display and some handy storage too!

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
I can arrange delivery to you, whether you are within the UK or require an international delivery service, please do get in touch…as a mainland UK guide, a delivery for something around the size of a chest of drawers within approx 150 miles will be £75 to you, but if you if you are in Scotland, Wales, Ireland or Cornwall please get in touch to confirm delivery costs!
