Description

This is a very fine quality and very elegant French kingwood bureau plat or could make a stunning dressing table too, circa 1900
Made in the Louis Xv style with the serpentine frame and those beautiful cabriole legs, amazing shape and finished with original mounts throughout, the top is also finished with a brass edging too.
The top has a green leather with gilt tooling and is in good condition.
Three good size drawers for storage, all running well and the centre drawer has a working lock with key.
The desk is finished on all sides as you can see from the photos, so it can freestand if required.

29 1/2” or 75cm high
39 1/2” or 100cm wide
24” or 61cm deep
24 1/2” or 61.5cm high kneehole area

I can arrange delivery to you, whether you are within the UK or require an international delivery service, please do get in touch…as a mainland UK guide, a delivery for something around the size of a chest of drawers within approx 150 miles will be £75 to you, but if you if you are in Scotland, Wales, Ireland or Cornwall please get in touch to confirm delivery costs!
