Description

Beautifully made and wonderful colour to this Edwardian satinwood breakfront pedestal or kneehole desk with 12 drawers, circa 1900.
Very decorative piece and would work well as a desk but also a dressing table.
All 12 drawers running very well, fine dovetailed joints and the desk splits into 3 parts for ease of moving.
The kneehole height is better than the average, so there is a bit more room and comfort with this desk.
Good consistent colour and polish throughout. The top drawer surface which is finished with the scalloped edge has some markings that suggest there was another part mounted to the top surface, although not terribly obvious and is polished over.
Measuring:

35 inches or 89 cm maximum height
48 3/4 inches or 124 cm maximum width
22 1/4 inches or 56.5 maximum depth
59.5 cm kneehole height
