Description

Brilliantly decorative large Victorian centre footstool, upholstered in a handmade Indian patchwork tapestry, finished with large brass studs and stands on a set of turned mahogany legs.
The Indian patchwork is stunning, beautifully hand stitched and decorated with sequins, small beads and stones, ribbon embroidery and this particular tapestry shows an Indian elephant in ceremonial dress, and fits the stool beautifully!
This is a great alternative to a traditional coffee table if you use this with a butlers tray to hold your glass of wine, leaving plenty of room for putting your feet up too.
The stool is very strong and the frame is more than happy to hold two adults for additional seating as and when required.
