Decorative and functional early 19th century French cherrywood server sideboard or buffet with marquetry compass inlays, circa 1820
The buffet gives you good storage with the full width drawer and the two cupboard doors below which open up to a full width space and a fixed shelf. There is a working lock and key too.
Great colour with the cherrywood, unusual with the inlays.

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
