Fantastic French solid oak Buffet sideboard, or dresser base, circa 1800
Lovely faded oak colour and with simple carved door, fluted corner columns and plenty of old age character.
Great storage piece with the two doors opening up to a shelved interior.
The Buffet has been cleaned and beeswaxed polished, but I will continue with this to build the layers further!
The internal shelf has been replaced at some point as you can see.
Original hinged and door brasses, also with the original working lock and key.
Great value for such a useful and decorative piece of French provincial furniture, lots of uses, I have one as a drinks cabinet!

41 1/2'' or 106cm high
56 1/2'' or 144cm wide
21'' or 53cm deep

I can arrange delivery to you, whether you are within the UK or require an international delivery service, please do get in touch…as a mainland UK guide, a delivery for something around the size of a chest of drawers within approx 150 miles will be £75 to you, but if you if you are in Scotland, Wales, Ireland or Cornwall please get in touch to confirm delivery costs!
