Description

Very handsome and well proportioned late 19th century French mahogany and brass mounted Empire style kingsize bed.
This bed is ready to hold a standard UK kingsize base and mattress of 150cm x 200cm.
Lovely warm colour tone to the mahogany which is panelled and finished with the brass mounts to contrast.
Very solid frame and all in good condition.
The mattress height tends to be around 60cm to 64cm from the floor which is just below the polished panel to the headboard.
I can arrange or assist with the box base required and the supports for the base are in place already, so the base will sit on the new timbers attached to the inside of the side runners (not on the floor)…any queries, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Priced as the frame only, ready to hold your raised box base on the supports.
Measuring:
Headboard height 58 1/2 inches or 148.5 cm
Footboard height 39 1/2 inches or 100.5 cm
Maximum frame width 64 1/4 inches or 163 cm
Mattress size standard 5’ x 6’6’’ or 150cm x 200cm
