Description

Good size original Louis Philippe style overmantle mirror with original mirror, circa 1870.
The gilded frame is decorated with relief work and has aged very well, lovely gilt tone with some of the base gesso coming through too.
Good mid size French mirror, no problem for the mirror to hang on its own as the bottom rail is finished to match the rest of the frame, rather than a typical overmantle mirror which tends to have a plain base rial and sits on your mantle.
Some knocks and bumps to the frame as you would expect from a mirror of this age, but nothing major and still a great decorative antique.
Measuring:
53 1/4'' or 137cm high
38 1/2'' or 98cm wide

Also not a super heavy mirror to hang, so it would be ok on all walls
