Description

Unusual French gilt mirror with a lovely depth to the frame and can hang landscape, or portrait, circa 1880.
Landscape as shown, this is a great overmantle mirror for those tricky mantle pieces, or above a sideboard / sofa perhaps.
Or it does work well as landscape, as a hall mirror or perhaps a staircase mirror.
Not too heavy, so this is easy when it comes to hanging and does have a pair of brackets on the rear of the frame, ready for hanging.
The frame is a good depth, hard to show in the photos, but gives the mirror good presence, well gilded and in original condition. Lovely old glass too, some imperfections which just add to the character, but absolutely nothing to get in the way of looking in the mirror!

30 1/2'' or 77cm x 50 1/2'' or 128cm

All of my items are antique and will therefore, have some signs of age and use, but I restore everything necessary and you will receive a good quality piece that is well represented in my photographs...no problem to send you more info or photos of any item you would like, just let me know.
