Fantastic and rare French solid oak housekeepers cupboard, circa 1840
This is a large piece of furniture, beautifully made and the Empire style being simple and elegant, so in my opinion it would fit brilliantly into any kitchen or kitchen diner for storage, or could be used to hide a huge tv perhaps!
Lovely light oak colour, panelled doors and sides, half round columns with small brass caps and a fluted panel to the door centres.
The interior is also solid oak, fully panelled and shelved...the base section has one shelf and the base boards, the top section has two shelves and the base surface, so lots of storage but you could move the selves around to suit your needs.
The top does lift off the base...but it is very heavy, so delivery would need to be a team effort!
Incredible value for money when you think of the age, the size and the quality of craftsmanship here, great solid piece and ready to go.

The maximum width is 178cm or 70''

The depth of the base section is 58cm or 22 3/4''
