Description

Beautifully made and very good quality English Regency period dressing table with its original mercury mirror glass and Cararra marble top. Circa 1830.
A very elegant and decorative piece, but also very much useable as an everyday dressing table with good storage to the full width drawer.
The drawer is lined with satinwood and has its original lock and key in working order.
The original mirror does have some age marks to the glass which I have shown in the photographs. Not major and they don't get in the way of the view, however, it is possible to turn the mirror the other way up if you preferred, so the marks to the glass would be at the top and out of the way.
The frame or base of the dressing table has piano lyre style supports, a turned and reeded stretcher and has its four original brass castors. ( castor cups can be supplied if you have a wooden floor ).
Wonderful piece and something to be admired!
