Description

This really is a very elegant and beautifully made English Regency period astragal glazed bookcase or cabinet, circa 1820.
The proportions are "slight" so it helps to keep this piece feeling fine and light. Classical moulding to the cornice and lovely reeded columns to the base, finished with concentric rings and standing on fine turned legs.
All glass is original and in good condition. Internally, there are three ( later ) adjustable glass shelves and both base surfaces.
This could work well as a display cabinet, glass cabinet, drinks cabinet and bookcase, so has many uses.
Also being of light proportions and with a shallow depth, this could work well in a number of locations.
Very fine piece of classic Regency style at its very best.
The interior lining is vintage and shows some signs of age, but have left as it looks good in my opinion...can be changed if you would prefer
This piece comes in two sections, so is very easy to move and not heavy...no problem to arrange safe delivery!
Measuring:
72 1/2” or 184cm high
43 3/4” or 111cm wide
12 1/2” or 32cm deep at the base

Internally
9” or 23cm deep top section
10 1/4” or 26cm deep base section
