Description

A very good quality French c19th gilt mirror with superb carving throughout the frame with original gilding and mirror.
An impressive and decorative mirror, could be used as an overmantle or it could free hang as it is finished to the bottom rail of the frame ( whereas typical overmantle mirrors are plain at the bottom ).
Leaves and scrolled pediment, flanked with carved urns, fluted columns etc.
Measuring:
60 1/2'' or 154cm high
39 1/2'' or 100cm wide
2'' or 5cm deep

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!

All of my items are antique and will therefore, have some signs of age and use, but I restore everything necessary and you will receive a good quality piece that is well represented in my photographs...no problem to send you more info or photos of any item you would like, just let me know.
