Description

This is a very fine pair of c19th French carved mahogany open armchairs or fauteuil armchairs.
Both armchairs are beautifully carved and in great condition, finished to a very high standard. Do take your time to look through the detailed images of the frames.
These armchairs are a good size and very comfortable, so if you were planning on them for use in a living room for additional seating, then these will work very well. But equally, if you are considering them for decorative use, they would be perfect too!
The current upholstery is certainly vintage, but it is in really very good condition, as is the interior seat spring, so if you were to change the upholstery it is just a re covering rather than a re build project.
I can help with upholstery if you need assistance, so please get in touch.
Measuring:
41 1/2’’ or 105.5cm high
24 1/2’’ or 62cm wide
26’’ or 66cm deep
Seat height 18 1/2’’ or 47cm
