This really is an exceptionally good quality early Victorian centre or hall table in beautifully figured burr walnut, inlaid with a generous ebony band and box marquetry to the oval top and stands on this incredible base.
Most unusual to find such a quality table as this and with an unusual style of base too. Made in solid walnut, the reeded column pedestal and four beautifully carved splayed legs and on its original castors.
The proportions of this table will lend itself to being used as a centre table or hall table, but also will work as a sofa table and side lamp table too.
