Description

Good quality and early c19th French mahogany Empire period console table with all original brass mounts, also retaining its original mercury mirror back and marble top.
Full width drawer in the frieze which also retains its original lock, but I don't have a key for it I'm afraid.
Very decorative piece and with the mirror back, it gives a lighter feel and with the concave plinth base too.
Good mid size console table, so it will work as a hall table as well as console and server type tables.
I have shown it with a mirror hanging above and a pair of lamps too to give a sense of proportions ( although not included in the price! )
