Good decorative Georgian Queen Anne style pale mahogany console table, although technically it is in fact a fold over tea table.
Lovely size side table for a hall console perhaps, but also can be used as intended as a side table which can be brought into use as a four seater table. There is a hinged leg which supports the top when opened and gives a steady and secure table if required.
Although this piece has been bleached by use and sun, I personally really like the colour tone so have left it and just given it a few coats of beeswax to bring up the finish.
Useful and decorative with those lovely shaped legs with the pad foot.

28 inches of 71.5 cm high
36 inches or 91.5 cm wide
17 3/4 inches or 45 cm deep
55 cm from the floor to the underside of the frieze
