Description

Fantastic set of 19th century mahogany and leather metamorphic library or bed steps in lovely original condition and a wonderful pale mahogany tone.
Whether you are buying these for practical use or just for a decorative piece, they are firm and totally useable.
The colour tone of both the lighter shade of mahogany and the leather complimenting it so well, the steps have a wonderful patina built up over decades of beeswax polish.
When the steps are closed, they offer an occasional chair at a low stool height, ideal for children!
Lovely quality and unusual item.
