Description

Very elegant French late 19th century Louis XV style partners bureau plat in walnut with a deep red and gilt embossed leather top, also has a shaped glass top if required.
This bureau plat or writing table is finished on all sides, so the rear of the desk has false drawer fronts and is decorative as per the front and sides. It also means this bureau plat can be used as a sofa table or freestanding hall table.
There are three drawers, each with original brass drawer pulls and also matching brass mounts to the legs and feet on all sides.
Good colour and has cleaned and polished up well, so it has a lovely glow to it and is ready to use as an everyday working laptop desk, also would work as a dressing table or to just look fabulous as a decor piece.
Good condition throughout and I do have a glass top as shown in the photos which has kept the leather in such good condition, although you may or may not choose to use the glass top.
