Super quality and well proportioned late 19th century French mahogany and marble top commode, circa 1880 and in great condition.
Lovely rich colour and with fantastic grain patterns to the book matched veneers.
The drawers are all in solid oak and run very well, giving you a total of five full width drawers. They are all lined with a red baize which looks great too.
The marble top is the original, with curved front corners and a good colour with the charcoal grey and white.
Whether this is to be a storage piece or a decorative piece, it will work well with other period furniture and has the space to hold a pair of lamps and a mirror above, so it works as a feature piece in any room setting too.

15 1/2 inches or 128.5 cm wide
22 3/4 inches or 58 cm deep
