A coffer of desirably small size, early English oak c. 1660. Made by hand in during the reign of Charles II. the interior is clean, dry and the coffer is practical and useable.

Some evidence of old worm, long since dead, slight depletion to back edge right hand edge of coffer lid but not affecting seal/use. Knocks, wear and dents consistent with great age and careful use.
