Description

A very solid set of ten chairs, mahogany, and made in around 1890 in the Regency manner.

Drop in seats over a square seat rail with bar and gate backs.

One carver and nine standard chairs. The chairs have carved roman numerals on the inner face of each back rail (under the seats) and appear to have once been a set of 12 chairs.

Good weight, very solid, nice consistent colour and finish.


Dimensions are:

Standard chairs - Width is 19 inches, depth is 19 inches and height is 35.5 inches. Floor to seat pad is 18 inches.

Carver chair - Width is 24.5 inches, depth is 19 inches and height is 35.5 inches. Floor to seat pad is 18 inches.
