Description

A lovely walnut canteen table. We date this cabinet to the mid 20th century.

The table sits on four cabriole legs with pad feet. The table consists of two red baize lined cutlery drawers with a serpentine front. The drawers are fitted with lovely ornate drop handles and lock (key is supplied).

There is a set of silver plated cutlery including a carving set, one set of soup spoons have a ‘P’ engraved on the handle. The lower drawer has space for more cutlery to be added.

The table has a height of 30.5" (78cm), a width of 29" (74cm) at widest and a depth of 21" (53cm) at deepest.

This lovely table remains in very good solid condition with only very minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage including some minor wear to some edges.

This remains a very stylish and elegant cabinet which will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
