Description

A beautiful antique French brass lamp. It is in lovely condition with easy adjustment for positioning the shade and neck. There are one or two dings to the brass base (which I have tried to capture in the photos) but these do not detract from the elegance of this lamp. As can be seen in the photos, the lamp is unusual in that the flex to the bulb fitting comes from the top of the neck and continues along the outside of the shade - a very attractive feature. Another feature to the lamp is the square reeded neck which I have not seen before. The lamp has been rewired with 6 feet of gold braided flex and a black inline torpedo switch and black mains plug. The bulb is 25w pygmy bulb. The approximate height of the lamp is 32.0 cm and the width of the shade is 25.0 cm. The diameter of the base is 14.4 cm.
