Description

A stunning antique French brass lamp of great quality circa 1901. It is in excellent condition with easy adjustment for positioning the shade and neck. The sturdy cast brass base is weighted by a solid lead block so the lamp is a good weight. The inside of the shade has its original nickel plating to maximise light output. The lamp has been rewired with 6 feet of three-core gold braided flex, a new black inline torpedo switch, a new brass bayonet bulb fitting (with earth), and a new black mains plug. The bulb is a 40w LED bulb. The approximate height of the lamp is 45.0 cm and the width of the shade is 23.0 cm. The diameter of the base is 12.5 cm.
