Description

A stunning Art Nouveau Veritas oil lamp in excellent antique condition. The brass lamp sits on three stylised feet secured to two brass rings. The top ring secures the drop-in font. The lamp stands 58.5 cm to the top of the chimney, 44.5 cm to the top of the shade, and 38 cm to the top of the burner. The lamp has a diameter of approximately 23 cm at the feet. The shade gallery is unusually large at 13cm to fit the larger than normal Vaseline shade. The shade is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. It stands 12.3 cm in height, has a diameter of 22.6 cm across the top rim, and a diameter of 11.1 cm for the fitter rim. The final photo shows the shade against a black background to highlight the beautiful detail.
