Description

Antique figure of Guanyin hand-carved in China during the late 1800s from beautiful lapis lazuli.
Great detailing to the features, her robe & headdress, along with the 2 finely carved lotus flowers she holds in her hands hands.
The lapis is good untreated quality with brilliant blue color with inclusions of olive and white, on a custom rosewood stand inlaid with gilded silver.
PROVENANCE: Park Avenue estate of world-renowned collector, Amiel Brown, of New York City.
