Description

A splendid Chinese bronze censor with elephant head handles with a six-character Xuande reign mark to the underside and possibly of the period,at the latest it is early 19th century.It is made from a very heavy gauge bronze and is a substantial piece at 2.4Kg, or 5 bags of sugar.

8 inches(20.4cm) handle to handle,the bowl has a 6 inch(15cm) diameter,3 1/4 inches(8cm) tall.

Very good condition with only minor scratching from polishing and two minor age-related wear dents.
