Cast in bronze,the green man knocker is unsigned and exact age unknown,what can be said is it`s a really characterful piece covered in all over verdigris.It delivers a fair knock and that will be amplified when bolted to a wooden door.I`ve never seen one like this before,a rare and old item.
It is sold with three 2 inch(50mm) brass screws with antiqued heads for use as a door knocker and a frame for wall mounting if used as wall art.
